Honorary Assistants

Honorary Assistants are retired clergy who share in the life and ministry of our parish at the invitation of our Incumbent. They occasionally lead worship and support the clergy team in prayer and collegiality. The Parish of the Valley is grateful for the ministries of our five Honorary Assistants: The Reverend Gale Edmondson, The Reverend Robert Lauder, The Reverend Doctor Beverley A. Nitschke, The Reverend Allan Studd and The Reverend Canon John Wilker-Blakley.

Licensed Lay Readers

We are also supported by a team of three Lay Readers: Wendy Cayen, Thérèse Narbonne and Bev York. Each Lay Reader is licensed by our diocesan bishop and assists with the ministries of our parish under the supervision of our Incumbent.
