A beautiful Celebration of New Ministry took place on Tuesday, October 23rd at Holy Trinity in Pembroke. With over 200 parishioners, clergy, family and friends in attendance, the Parish of the Valley clergy team was formally inducted into their roles as Incumbent and Associate Incumbents of the parish. Members of all of the congregations joined together in a massed choir, in presenting the symbols of ministry to the clergy, in reading and intercessing, and in preparing a delicious reception following the service. Archbishop Fred Hiltz, the Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, inspired us with his words, and Bishop John Chapman expressed his joy at the faith of our Valley communities who have embarked on this journey of faith together.

A video of the Primate's sermon can be viewed below. Our thanks to Mike Sibley for the pictures and video.
