Parish of the Valley Lenten StudyTuesdays on Zoom & Thursdays in Person It isn't too late to join our Lenten Study! Each session of the study is stand-alone, so don't worry if you haven't been able to join in for prior sessions -- please come as you are able. The study is being held both in person and on Zoom - the material will be the same at both offerings. In Person - Thursdays at 1pm at St. John's Eganville beginning February 22nd through March 21st. Holden Evening PrayerWeekly Sung Services during Lent Holden Evening Prayer is a beautiful service of evening prayer filled with song and scripture. Our parish is offering this service in partnership with St. Timothy’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pembroke (503 Alfred St.) at St. Timothy’s on Wednesday evenings during Lent at 7pm. Please consider joining on March 13th and 20th for our final two services. |
Impact ZambiaPresentations During Coffee Time As a parish we are proud to support our Honourary Assistant, the Rev. Allan Studd, and the work he does with Impact Zambia in the Itezhi-tezhi region of Southern Zambia. Rev. Allan will be returning to Zambia this summer and in preparation for his time there, he will be travelling around the parish giving updates about the work of Impact Zambia during coffee hours. On Sunday, March 10th he will be at St. John's Eganville and on Sunday, March 17th he will be at Holy Trinity Pembroke. Stay tuned for dates and times in other parts of the parish in coming weeks. Food Bank SundaySunday, March 24th Four times per year we have "Food Bank Sunday" across the parish, and our next one will be on Palm Sunday, March 24th. Donations to your local food bank can be brought to worship on that Sunday or you can drop them off at your local food bank during the week. For online worship this week, you can watch the service that was filmed live at Holy Trinity Pembroke last Sunday. It will be available for watching anytime from midnight on Sunday onwards.
