Pilgrimage to the Land of the Holy One
Today as we give thanks for the life of St. Patrick we ask for your prayers for our parish's pilgrims. From March 19th to March 30th Rev. Claire, together with Lorna Sibley, Jennifer Cross, Mike Bashford and Jacky Bramma will be travelling to the land of the Holy One as part of a pilgrimage led by Bishop Shane. Please pray for our pilgrims as they travel: that the Holy Spirit will guard and protect them, and open their hearts to the good news of the "fifth gospel" - the land where Jesus walked on this earth. We look forward to welcoming them back in a few weeks time! |

Lenten LearningThursdays at 7pm on Zoom, ending March 30th Our parish's Lenten Learning series is continuing on Zoom. This year, rather than studying a particular book or a portion of holy scripture, your clergy team has asked you, the members of the Parish of the Valley, to help us plan our parish's Lenten study together. Two weeks remain with our discussion focused on the following topics: Week 4: Prayer (i.e. What is it, and what is our relationship to it?) Week 5: Christianity & The World Today (i.e. Where are we now as the Church, and where are we going?) We hope you will join us for these interactive 90 minute sessions. Each begins with a brief presentation, followed by questions and discussion moderated by members of our clergy team. We likely wont be able to offer answers to all of your questions, but we trust that the Holy Spirit will be working in us as we listen to each other, and search for answers together. Please use the following Zoom link to log-in: Topic: Parish of the Valley Lenten Study Mar 23, 2023 07:00 PM Join Zoom Meeting Meeting ID: 881 7503 5453 Dial by your location (Don't forget to dial 10-10-710 for $1 per hour long distance). +1 780 666 0144 Canada For more infomation visit: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88175035453?pwd=YmdUU0ZOdS9HeHJKUGI1VlNlajVJQT09
