Food Bank SundayThis Sunday, March 22nd Our first Food Bank Sunday of 2026 is this Sunday, March 22nd. On Sunday, you are welcomed to bring any donations for our local food banks to church so that we might deliver them to the food banks during the week. We are grateful to be able to continue to support our local food banks as a parish, and know that our support is valued as together we seek to care for our communities. Annual Congregational Vestries
Annual Vestry meetings in the Parish of the Valley are taking place in March. Nine of our parish's eleven congregational Vestries have now completed their annual meetings. Macaroni & Cheese Cook-OffSaturday, April 25 at St. John's Eganville Who will win this year's Holy Macaroni Crown? The annual Macaroni & Cheese Cook-Off is on at St. John's, Eganville: Saturday, April 25th starting at 6pm. Competing guest cooks will each provide a macaroni & cheese dish "taste test" to determine the winner of the Holy Macaroni Crown. Seating is limited, so tickets must be purchased in advance: $15 each. Please contact Heather Park-Wheeler for tickets: 613-226-2800. Also serving salads, rolls, dessert, tea, coffee and juice. There will be a silent auction during dinner. |

Holden Evening Prayer for LentContinuing until March 25th Once again this year our Anglican Parish of the Valley is partnering with St. Timothy's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pembroke to hold Holden Evening Prayer services during the Season of Lent. Continuing each Wedensday evening at 7pm at St. Timothy's (503 Alfred Street, Pembroke) until March 25th, these are wonderful contemplative opportunities to gather on Wednesday evenings for approximately 30 minutes of prayer and song. These final three services will be Holden Evening Prayer. The Parish of the Valley Clergy Team and Pastor Bruce Thompson from St. Timothy's will be sharing in the leadership of each service and we will enjoy fellowship following the service. All are welcome and invited! |
