Truth and Reconciliation Virtual Lunch and LearnsSeptember 22nd to 26th Across our country, September 30th is recognized annually as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation; a federal statutory holiday to honour the children who never returned home from residential schools and the Survivors of that system, their families, and communities. As we journey together towards truth and reconciliation, on Sunday, September 28th we are encouraged to wear orange to mark "Orange Shirt Day" and remember and honour those children who did not come home. For those who would like an opportunity to "go deep" in learning more about our journey of truth-telling and reconciliation in Canada, the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation is offering a series of virtual "Lunch and Learns" daily from September 22nd through 26th.
