The Anglican Diocese of Ottawa warmly invites you to attend A Service of Thanksgiving for our Journey with Bishop Shane as we gather in the presence of God to celebrate Archbishop Shane’s faithful leadership on his final day as our diocesan bishop.

Time: 11:00 a.m. Service followed by a light festive reception.

Cheers to Holy Trinity's first 100 years!

While Holy Trinity Pembroke has a history dating back to 1855, it was 100 years ago the past June that the cornerstone was laid for the current church building.

On Saturday, September 27th we will gather as a parish in the church hall at Holy Trinity to celebrate this milestone and to share a special anniversary dinner. A delicious turkey supper, including wine, dessert and all the fixings, will be catered by St. George's South Alice in partership with Schmidt's Caterimg. Bishop Michael Bird and Bishop John Chapman, together with many retired former clergy of our deanery, will be our honoured guests. 

There are still a few tickets remaining for the dinner and we would be delighted if you could join us. Refreshments will be served beginning at 5 pm with dinner following at 6 pm. Our Thanksgiving issue of our parish newspaper, Revelations, will be published in early October.

We would love to share stories from across our parish. If you have a story idea, would like to share about things that took place through the spring or summer, advertize evenths that are coming up in the life of our many congregations - we would love to hear from you!

The Holy Trinity Pembroke Anglican Church Women group is resuming monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month at 1:30pm in the Holy Trinity church hall. All women of the parish are warmly invited to join in. For more information about the ACW please contact Maggie Jacques, Holy Trinity ACW President. The ACW has recently produced a cook-book to mark the 100th anniversary of Holy Trinity's building. Only 100 copies have been printed, so get yours for $20 from the ACW while supplies last.
