Church of the Epiphany 65th AnniversaryJoin us this Sunday, July 6 at 11am! The Church of the Epiphany, Barry’s Bay is celebrating the 65th Anniversary of its Dedication this Sunday, July 6th. The former United Church was transferred to the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa in the 1950s and a new church was built for the Anglican congregation. On July 6, 1960, Bishop Ernest S. Reed presided at the service of dedication for the new church building. Rev. Nick will be offering special Prayers of Thanksgiving on the Anniversary of a Congregation to mark the anniversary of the dedication during the service of Holy Eucharist on Sunday, July 6th at 11am. All are invited! |

Welcome to Rev. Sony!Our Summer Theological Intern The Parish of the Valley is pleased to welcome the Rev. Dr. Sony Jabouin to our parish clergy team as a summer theological intern. Rev. Sony is a gifted priest and teacher, who was formerly Roman Catholic and has recently been received into the Anglican Communion. He will be based in Cobden and will support our clergy team with liturgical leadership in Stafford/Whitewater and Alice/Petawawa. We formally welcomed Rev. Sony to our Parish of the Valley on Wednesday, July 2nd with a special liturgy of commissioning during the mid-week Eucharist at Holy Trinity Pembroke. Rev. Holy Trinity Pembroke Summer ServicesOne Service on Sunday at 9am A reminder that this Sunday, July 6th, marks the beginning of the Summer Service Schedule for Holy Trinity, Pembroke. Sunday worship moves to one service at 9am for July and August, alternating between liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer and the Book of Alternative Services. This also means that our Sunday livestream will begin one hour earlier, at 9am. Our weekly broadcast on YourTV continues at 10am. Wednedsay morning 10am said Eucharist from the BAS continues throughout the summer. |

Summer Office HoursAborn House For the summer months of June, July, and August the main office at Aborn House in Pembroke will be closed on Fridays. Summer office hours will be Monday through Thursday from 9am until 12pm. The office is also closed on all statutory holidays.
