The Parish of the Valley is pleased to be hosting a training day for Licensed Lay Readers in the Diocese of Ottawa. It will be held tomorrow, Saturday, June 21st, at St. Paul's Cobden and we are grateful for the team from St. Paul's who have been working with the Diocesan Warden of Lay Readers, the Rev. Bob Albert, to provide hospitality for Lay Readers from across our diocese. Lay Readers offer important ministry both in the life of our Parish of the Valley and in parishes across the Diocese of Ottawa through the leading of Morning Prayer and offering pastoral care. We give thanks for the ministry of Lay Readers and are pleased to be able to support them in this gathering! |
