Special Vestry MeetingEpiphany, Barry's Bay: Sunday, August 2nd Notice is given that a Special Vestry Meeting for Epiphany Barry’s Bay will be held on Sunday, August 2nd, after the 11am service. The purpose of the meeting is to formalize plans to replace the church’s main entrance steps and install a new accessibility ramp this autumn. Rev. Matthew will chair the meeting. |

Aborn House OfficeAdditional Closure Times In addition to being closed on all Fridays throughout the summer, the office at Aborn House will also be closed the next two Thursdays, July 23rd and 30th. Therefore, for the next two weeks, the office will be open to visitors Monday - Wednesday, 9am to 12pm. If you need to speak with one of the members of the clergy team during those days, please reach out to them individually to set up an appointment, or call 613-732-4658 and leave a voicemail message. Gail will respond to messages and emails when she returns to the office. Please note the office will also be closed on Monday, August 3rd for the Ontario Civic Holiday. |

Sandra Sharp Memorial Outreach Sunday9am on Sunday, August 2 at St. John's Tramore Sunday, August 2nd is Outreach Sunday for the congregation of Ascension Killaloe / St. John's Tramore. This annual day has now been renamed the "Sandra Sharp Memorial Outreach Sunday," in honour of our sister Sandra's leadership in support of the many outreach projects of the congregation, and in honour of the spiritual and physical energy she drew from helping and advocating for others in need. Please join in at 9am on Sunday, August 2nd at St. John's Tramore as we prayerfully consider how we might honour Sandra's legacy by contributing to the various outreach projects supported by the Ascension / St. John's congregation throughout the year. Supporting Our Diocesan Community MinistriesCornerstone Housing For Women Flooded Following last week's storms, one of our Diocesan Community Ministries, Cornerstone Housing for Women, experienced devastating flooding at its Emergency Shelter location in Ottawa. A request for help has been put out across our diocese. In addition to financial support, a number of specific items have been requested, including fans, towels, shoes, cleaning supplies, and various food items. A link to the Cornerstone website is available at the blue button below, where you will find the full list of items needed as well as information on how to arrange to drop off donations. Thank you for your ongoing support of our Anglican Community Ministries!

Fundraising Concerts for the Eganville Food Bank
Music lovers are invited to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Eganville, for two concerts: Canadian folk legend Valdy will be performing on August 8th at 7pm, and singer-songwriter Connie Kaldor on November 22nd at 7pm.
