The Parish of the Valley is pleased to host The Lyra Ensemble for one more spring concert: Tonight, Friday, June 26th at 7:30pm at St. John's, Eganville

Due to a planned power outage, the 9:30am service will be cancelled this Sunday, June 28th at St. George's South Alice. Parishioners are welcomed and invited to join services elsewhere in the parish.

Each year, a number of our cemeteries hold Cemetery Services, where we gather to pray and give thanks for those who have gone before us, those we love and see no longer, and to tend the graves of those laid to rest in our cemeteries.

Across the Parish of the Valley, we hold Cemetery Services throughout the summer.

• Sunday, August 23 at 2pm - St. Paul's Combermere Cemetery Service, held in the cemetery
• Sunday, August 30 at 2pm - St. Clement's Clontarf Chapel & Cemetery Service, held in the chapel.

Join Rev. Matthew and The Intermittents at the Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre's Micksburg United Church for a Pioneer Evensong - Thursday, July 23rd at 7pm.

Come for a fun evening of joyous gospel music and words of reflection. 

The community is invited to this year's Vacation Bible School (VBS) hosted by St. George's Chapel, Garrison Petawawa: Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God

Held August 10-14 from 9am-noon

Cost: $15/child or $30/family (Cash only. Please pay at St. Francis Chapel beforehand). Breakfast club: $5/child for the week - 7:30-8:30am

Enjoy imagination station, games, bible songs, and tasty treats.

Hosted by St. Francis of Assisi and St. George's Base Chapels, with support from local faith communities including Pine Ridge Community Church and Petawawa Presbyterian Church.

Join the Church of the Epiphany for a Summer Tea and Silent Auction: Saturday August 15th 1pm-3pm. Held at the Opeongo Seniors Centre, 19 Stafford Street, Barry’s Bay.

The office at Aborn House has now moved to summer hours.

For the months of June, July, and August, the office will be open Monday to Thursday, 9am to 12pm. The office is closed on Fridays and also closed on all statutory holidays.

As the summer months approach, the clergy team will be taking some well-deserved time away.

Rev. Christine will be off as of Monday, June 15th returning on July 7th. In case of pastoral emergency during this time please be sure to reach out to one of the other members of the clergy team: Rev. Matthew (613-732-4658), Rev. Gillian (613-687-9123) or Rev. Nick (613-629-9298).
