Getting Ready to Open Our DoorsIn-Person Worship Resumes September 6 & September 13 In-person worship services at most churches in the Parish of the Valley will resume on Sunday, September 6th. Worship at St. Stephen's Micksburg and St. Paul's Cobden will resume on Sunday, September 13th. All worship services throughout the parish will be conducted in accordance with the Amber Stage of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa's "In This Together" COVID-19 Plan. In preparation for our return to in-person worship please download and read our parish's re-opening brochure, "Getting Ready to Open our Doors." Should you have any questions about our re-opening procedures please contact a member of our clergy team or your local churchwardens. All of the parish's churchwardens are now familiar with the reopening plan and are busy preparing our churches. There are several additional jobs that will require volunteers. If you can help, please contact your wardens. During the Amber Stage of re-opening all other in-person activities in our church buildings, apart from worship and essential tasks, remain suspended. Please note that the Sunday 8am and Wednesday 10am services at Holy Trinity Pembroke will not take place during the Amber Stage. The Holy Trinity Church Office will also remain closed to the public. Please call the office in advance and make an appointment should you have business to conduct at Holy Trinity: 613-732-4658.

Remembering Father RichardA Faithful Servant Laid to Rest The Reverend Richard Mackenzie was laid to rest earlier this week at the All Saints Petawawa Cemetery. For many years Father Richard served as the Incumbent of the Parish of Petawawa and Associate Priest at Holy Trinity Pembroke. Richard's dear friend and colleague in ministry, the Reverend Canon Roger Steinke, presided at the outdoor funeral service. Rev. Matthew and Rev. Gillian were also present with Richard's family and friends, together with many members of All Saints Petawawa, St. George's South Alice, Holy Trinity Pembroke. May our brother in Christ rest now in peace, and rise with our Lord in glory. |
