Getting Ready to Open Our DoorsIn-Person Worship Resumes September 6 & September 13 Most churches in the Parish of the Valley will re-open for in-person worship on Sunday September 6th. St. Stephen's Micksburg and St. Paul's Cobden will hold their first services on Sunday September 13. An information leaflet outlining our re-opening procedures was sent to everyone in the parish last week. Please take time to read it carefully as it will help prepare you for what to expect when you return to church. If you have any questions, you may wish to contact your churchwardens, who are now familiar with the reopening plan and are busy preparing the churches in accordance with our Diocesan "In this Together" COVID-19 plan. There are several additional jobs that will require volunteers. If you can help, please contact your wardens. And if you haven't already received our information leaflet, entitled "Getting Ready to Open our Doors", contact Canon Susan at: 613-732-0313. You can also review it online below. If you need to reach Bishop Michael, he can be reached at: 613-401-8976. Rev. Matthew can be reached through the Holy Trinity office: 613-732-4658.

St. Anthony's, WhitneyMaking Good Use of Our Covid Downtime in Whitney The closing of our Church buildings has given our congregation at St. Anthony’s in Whitney a chance to take on some much-needed repairs and restoration. The entranceway has been beautifully restored with the sanding and refinishing of the front doors and a paint job for the rest of the porch. When we re-open in September parishioners will be treated to these shiny improvements! We want to thank all those who were involved. Pictured at the front doors are Gary, Bob and Jim. |
