Easter Worship in the Valley
Have you seen all of our Holy Week reflections yet? Each day this week, members of the clergy team have prepared a short video reflection to accompany us in our journey through Holy Week. You can find them by clicking here: a new video is uploaded every day. For self-guided, at-home prayers for use on Good Friday and at the Saturday Easter Vigil, we've put together a few resources here. Easter Sunday: Join Bishop Michael, Canon Susan, Rev Matthew, and Rev Gillian for an Easter Sunday message, together with Pia Voorand from Epiphany Barry's Bay playing a favourite Easter hymn on the violin. The video will be available here beginning Sunday morning, or by clicking on the "Click to Pray" button below. After the video message from the clergy team, this week we invite you to join our Primate, Archbishop Linda Nicholls, as she delivers the Easter Resurrection homily livestreamed from Christ's Church Cathedral in Hamilton, Ontario. The Primate's service will be livestreamed on Facebook and on YouTube beginning at 10am. You may also want to pray at your own pace with the self-guided liturgy provided by Christ Church Cathedral, Ottawa with a written reflection by Bishop John Chapman, available here. Another livestream option is the Washington National Cathedral in the Episcopal Church, USA. Livestream available on YouTube at 11:15am with a homily by the Presiding Bishop, Archbishop Michael Curry (who might now be better known as "the Royal wedding preacher!") However you worship this Easter, may you be blessed by the infinite love and grace of the empty tomb. Christ is risen! Alleluia! For more infomation visit:

Supporting Our Churches
We are grateful to those who have already sent in Easter offering envelopes, those who have given online through Canada Helps, and those who continue to support our ministries through pre-authorized remittances. Thank you all for your faithful financial support, particularly during this holy season of Easter! During the COVID-19 pandemic the vast majority of our regular church expenses continue. All members of the Parish of the Valley are invited to continue making regular offerings to their home churches to support our parish's ministries and to provide for the continued care of our church buildings. Members of the parish can donate by mail, through pre-authorized remittances from your bank account (PAR), or by giving online through the website Canada Helps. Every donation matters, so please click "Support Our Churches" to find out more about how you can help.
