Greetings from Your Clergy Team
Grace and Peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. During this time of social-distancing, where we are unable to gather in person but still seek to stay connected, the clergy team will be providing this newsletter to all members of the Parish of the Valley on a weekly basis. We will also be sending further messages to individual churches or regions of the parish as needed in the coming weeks. If you know of anyone who isn't on our email distribution list, and who would like to be added, please have them sign up on our website (at the bottom of the page) or contact a member of the clergy team. In this e-newsletter you will find a link to where video worship will be made available for you every Sunday morning, a link to this week's Valley Bulletin, some information on church finances, online prayer resources, and news and updates from our bishop, together with other resources about COVID-19. From our homes to yours, may God's blessing be upon you all as we continue our journey through the season of Lent. |

Supporting Our Churches
During the COVID-19 pandemic the vast majority of our regular church expenses will continue. To ensure the continued financial health of our ministries, members of the Parish of the Valley are invited to send regular offerings (cash or cheque) to their home churches by mail. Every donation helps, so please click "Support Churches" below to find out more about how you can help. Some of our congregations offer the possibility of giving through Pre-Authorized Remittances from your bank account (PAR). To sign-up for PAR, or to increase your monthly PAR contribution, please click on "Support Churches." You will find forms you can download, print and mail-in to your home church. Online and At Home Prayer Resources
In this time of social-distancing and self-isolation it is important to remember that while we are asked to be socially distant, we are never spiritually distant. Our connection with God, and with each other, begins with prayer. Prayer can be a great help for when you are feeling low, alone, angry with the world, or just in need of support. There is also prayer for healing available from your Church, for you or for anyone who weighs on your heart. In addition to weekly services of Morning Prayer recorded by the clergy team, we are compiling a list of links and downloadable documents to help us pray together at home across the parish. Click "Prayer Resources" below to find those links and documents. This list will be added to as we discover new resources. We also want to remind you that your clergy are always here for you. We will pray with and for you, for anyone, or for any situation. You might also call Wendy (343-369-0676) and she will direct your request to our confidential prayer chain: a group of prayerful people across the parish committed to praying for your need every day.
