Online Worship for Sunday March 14thThe Fourth Sunday in Lent During this fourth week of Lent the Parish of the Valley is pleased to offer a virtual service of Morning Prayer, together with a commemoration of the one year anniversary of the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic. Greetings today are offered by the Most Reverend Anne Germond, Archbishop of Algoma and Moosonee and Metropolitan of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario. Rev. Rick Durrett is our officiant, Canon Susan Clifford is our preacher, Rev. Matthew Brown is our gospeller and responder and George Hodgkinson from Holy Trinity, Pembroke is our reader and intercessor. Marie Zettler from St. Paul's, Cobden, is our organist. You can download our order of service, a copy of The Valley Bulletin and our weekly Lenten hymn study by clicking on "Click to Pray" below. This service will also air on Your TV Ottawa Valley on Sunday March 14, 2021 at 10am and 1:30pm. At this point in time we still do not know if our parish will be re-opening for in-person services during Holy Week. A decision by Bishop Shane Parker is scheduled to be made on Wednesday March 24, 2021. The clergy-team and churchwardens will continue to keep all members of the parish apprised as we receive further details. We will be holding our next Valley Zoom Coffee Hour next Sunday, March 21st, at 11am. Be sure to watch for log-in details in our next e-newsletter, and thank you for joining our parish today in prayer. For more infomation visit:
