  and Reconciliation\, the Parish of the Valley intentionally pauses to mar
 k this national day. We wear orange as we honour and remember the children
  taken from their homes\, often to attend church-run residential and day s
 chools\, and to honour and remember the many Indigenous people and familie
 s still living with the imapcts of the trauma of the residential school sy
 stem.\nPlease join us in wearing orange on September 27th as we remember\,
  honour\, and mark this day as a parish.\nWe also encourage you to wear or
 ange on the actual date: Wednesday\, September 30th\, particularly if you 
 plan to attend our Wednesday Eucharist at Holy Trinity Pembroke.
